Think of us like an old fashioned sweet shop but for food and cleaning essentials!

We stock a variety of products that would usually come in single use plastic packaging such as pasta, rice, lentils, dried fruit, nuts, seeds, washing up liquid, laundry liquid, fabric conditioner, hand soap, kitchen cleaner, bathroom cleaner, shampoo, conditioner, body wash…and a whole lot more!

All you need to do is bring any containers or bottles with your shopping list. We will do the rest.

No worrying about weighing on the scales, getting the right amount or spillages.

When we were setting up our little refill shop on Layer Road, we came up with so many different names from "the Eco Pantry" to "Ecotopia".

However, it was a light bulb moment when we stepped back to think about our ultimate goal; 'to help make Colchester a little bit more Eco' and so, 'Colcheco' was established.

Since then, Colcheco has become even more than we ever imagined; bringing back a nostalgic way of shopping, a friendly space where we refill empty containers and catch up with our customers.

We feel overjoyed every day that our customers are choosing to buy differently and want to help change the status quo.

Behind the scenes we are constantly researching, testing new products and seeing if there is a better way we can do things.
